This piece was created for the Star Wars miniatures packaging art and was for the set entitled The Clone Wars.

It was painted with all traditional media: acrylic, oil, colored pencil and airbrush.

At first glance, I have to be honest, Anakin's face looks a bit like Nicholas Cage

Anakin looks less of a whiney bitch here. I like it!

Nice one. It's a shame we don't know of Ahsoka's fate.

Clone Wars really depicted Anakin to be a mature adult, a decent man and a legendary Jedi who sadly, eventually, succumbed to the dark side, the image in my head when Obi-Wan first described him to Luke. The films.. did NOT represent Anakin this way, they way he should have been. Nice work!

Honestly, I feel like it was poor writing and bland acting in the movies that made Anakin pathetic in the movies than in the series.

I agree, interviews with most of the cast (especially Portman) show their frustration at Lucas' writing and their inability to be allowed to improve on it.

Really!? That's the first time I had heard of that. Anyways to find those interviews?

Not sure, a couple of them were on youtube, some of them were comments by them mentioned in passing on chat shows and so on. There is a clip of Portman in the making of Clones where they are filming the factory conveyor belt scene and she quite clearly voices her annoyance at the fact they aren't using any props and that it's all cgi green screen. With nothing to act off her and Christensen were being told to do things over and over again by Lucas because they were "getting it wrong", problem was, nothing for them to act with.
