Samite Elder

This is a Magic the Gathering illustration I did a few years back. It wasn't a big "power" card or anything so it didn't get as much attention but I particularly enjoyed creating this because I put all four of our kids in it along with their grandma.

A couple bits of trivia. I signed this one M. Nielsen rather than T. Nielsen because I am "mom" Nielsen related to this piece.

Also the young'en in the back with pen and paper in hand is my son, otherwise known as SugarPolyp [link] on deviant art. He's well into his teen years now and much crazier, so he doesn't look much like this anymore. : )
