For the most part, my love is painting people however animals and particularly the cat species are close runners up. This was done for a Magic card that ended up (thus far) only being used in some online Magic tutorial ... or something like that.


I used the same mediums I always do these days, acrylic, colored pencil and oil.

Found it!

I knew I remembered this piece (and your name). In my Magic cards, I've got one called the "Silvercoat Lion." I've also got another one of your cards called the "Essence Warden".

Hehe, I always remember magic cards that are really beautiful. I keep them well-protected in my Magic card book packet.

Magic cards are wonderful!!! I used to actively play them, until my wallet finally complained. So now I just buy them for the art instead of for making a good deck. I've found a lot of awesome artists this way.

Wouldn't it be great if you could do a card for Magic?

It would be great :D an artist for a card that I use was at a con lately, and I forgot to bring ANY card that he had done so he could sign it. I was sad. But it's so cool to see the artwork for a card I use on here and be all like "I use that card!"
